Opinions Wanted!

The Weekly Report – August 22, 2022
State of Manufacturing® pollster is “in the field.” Please take his call.

Pollster Rob Autry and his firm, Meeting Street Insights, are currently out “in the field” learning what manufacturing executives think about the economy, their industry, and their outlook for the coming year. If you get a call from Rob’s team, please take a few minutes to speak with them.

One aspect that makes the State of Manufacturing® survey especially insightful is that we complement our random survey data with focus group discussions with manufacturing executives. These discussions provide real-world context to how manufacturing leaders see economic and industry trends impacting their businesses and communities around the state. All our focus groups are anonymous and confidential, which gives participating executives the opportunity to provide their unvarnished opinions and insights.

This year, we’re kicking off our focus group discussions on September 14th when Bob Kill travels to Hutchinson, Minnesota. In total, we’ll be conducting 10 focus groups throughout September and October with a mix of seven in-person and three virtual events. These two formats enable us to hear from executives regionally and gain understanding of local issues while virtual focus groups enable us to reach out to manufacturing leaders no matter where they are located. These are always outstanding discussions that yield tremendous insight to what’s going on in the manufacturing industry right now.

We invite manufacturing executives and leaders to join us in a focus group and provide your insights. Here are the available focus groups for 2022:

• Sept. 14 – In-person in Hutchinson – 8:30-9:30 a.m. – Learn more
