Lean Principles in Practice – Big Lake

This session equips your team with core skills in a fun and collaborative way to help them learn to see and eliminate waste on the production floor.

Benefits

Participants will learn to identify value-added vs. non-value-added activity, spot waste in processes, and drive employee-led problem-solving. An ideal entry point to Lean — or a reset for your continuous improvement journey.

What to Expect

A hands-on half-day session designed for supervisors, frontline leaders, and production teams with any level of Lean experience. Participants work through practical exercises that build a shared vocabulary and team confidence.

This event is divided into morning and afternoon sessions. Company groups are not expected to participate in both – one or the other is best – unless your company wants to send multiple teams.

Group Size

Company groups of 2-4 employees are recommended to get the most out of the session. Please speak with your local business development advisor for guidance and details.

Who Should Attend

This session is ideal for manufacturing production teams who are new to continuous improvement or know basic lean concepts. No prior experience with lean is required. Build shared language and mindset across your team – the starting point for sustainable improvement.

Registration

This event is exclusive to manufacturers and is offered at no cost (a $650 value) by a grant from the Initiative Foundation. Helping Central Minnesota people build and sustain thriving communities. www.ifound.org.
