Position Profile:

Experienced professional guiding manufacturing clients and project teams to improve operational efficiency, productivity, and profitability. The role requires thorough knowledge of Lean Principles and other process improvement methodologies and problem-solving skills. A key result of practical application in manufacturing environments is a CI culture.

Responsibilities:

  • Advise client CEOs and lead client teams to successfully put into practice initiatives that achieve measurable results.
  • Assess current production processes and identify areas for improvement using Lean tools and techniques.
  • Work with management and employees to identify and eliminate waste and streamline production processes.
  • Train employees on Lean principles, tools, and techniques to promote a continuous improvement culture.
  • Facilitate kaizen events to drive rapid improvement and engage employees in the improvement process.
  • Develop and implement standard work processes, visual management systems, and other Lean tools to support process improvement.
  • Conduct process audits and monitor progress to ensure the success of Lean initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive integration of Lean principles throughout the organization.
  • Develop and deliver presentations on Lean topics to educate and engage employees, customers, prospects, and stakeholders.
  • Stay current with industry trends and developments in Lean methodologies.
  • Collaborate with the business development colleagues supporting the sales process: conduct discovery, scope projects, develop proposals, respond to client queries.
  • Identify and expand complementary services, develop colleagues and content, ensure accuracy, brand standards, and professionalism.

Skills, Competencies, Experience:

  • Demonstrated track record of successfully collaborating and consulting with CEOs/owners; implementing continuous improvement principles, tools and techniques; assessing business environment, solving problems, and recommending solutions.
  • Ten+ years’ experience in manufacturing company functions (executive, operations, engineering etc.).
  • Strong communication (written, verbal, and presentation) skills, interpersonal skills, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to lead/facilitate cross-functional teams as well as be an individual contributor.
  • Desire, passion, and experience working with teams to drive the success of goals.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in technical field (advanced degree is a plus).
