Enterprise Minnesota's Business Events

Sophisticated Agendas and High-Level Presentations

Every month, Enterprise Minnesota hosts a peer-driven informational event in which high level manufacturing executives share their personal experiences regarding leading edge topics, all designed to help manufacturers become more profitable.

This month, for example, manufacturing professionals from all over Minnesota will gather in Minneapolis for an event entitled Does Your Strategy Position You for Business Growth? In that three-hour meeting, three prominent CEOs - Sarah Richards, Jones Metal Products; Tom Renk, Alliant Castings; and Tom Daggett, Hutchinson Manufacturing - will discuss how their companies have increased profitability through focused, strategic long-term plans of action.  The event is scheduled for Dec. 12 from 8 to 11 am at Padilla Speer Beardsley, 1101 West River Parkway, Minneapolis. Register online.

According to Bob Kill, Enterprise Minnesota's president and CEO, the Business Events combine two of Enterprise Minnesota's greatest strengths: expertise and credibility.

The events, he says, apply the expertise and hands-on experience of Enterprise Minnesota's seasoned force of business consultants to lay out a meaningful agenda of timely topics. They also attract high level executives - both as presenters and observers.

"It is a tribute to the quality of these events that so many executives take time off to prepare and deliver presentations with an amazing level of candor," Kill says. "It is an equal tribute to see so many CEOs in the audience."

The division, Emerson Process Management Rosemount, would bring 400 new jobs and about 100 transfers to the site, the proposal says. Of the 500, about 300 would be salaried jobs and 200 would be hourly wage positions. twincities.com article continues
