Tim Bjorgum Rejoins Enterprise Minnesota

Tim Bjorgum has rejoined Enterprise Minnesota as a business growth consultant.

Bjorgum, from White Bear Lake, worked at Enterprise Minnesota from 2008 to 2011 where he facilitated International Standard Organization (ISO) 9001 implementations, practical problem solving and lean solutions to manufacturers. He left to become the quality/continuous improvement manager at Precision Gasket Company in Edina. His professional experience prior to 2008 includes manufacturing manager at the Webb Company in Rosemount and director of manufacturing at GML, Inc., in St. Paul.

Enterprise Minnesota consults with medium size and smaller manufacturing companies to help them compete and grow profitably. It also serves as the “voice of manufacturing” to raise the industry’s profile as an appreciated, highly advanced economic driver of Minnesota’s economy. The organization is Minnesota’s affiliate of the national Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP) program.

 “Tim returns at an opportune time as Enterprise Minnesota sees resurgence in ISO and GreenLean® project opportunities,” said Bob Kill, Enterprise Minnesota president and CEO. “His expertise will help manufacturers in the state refine and improve their processes to boost their growth potential.”

Bjorgum attended Mankato State University, majoring in business administration. He holds certifications in quality training, lean/flow processes and management training. He is a member of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers.
