Enterprise Minnesota Hires Relationship Manager
In a move to continue elevating the appreciation level and value that Minnesota manufacturers bring to the state’s economy, Enterprise Minnesota recently announced that it has hired Jim Schottmuller to serve in the newly-created role of relationship manager.
Enterprise Minnesota consults with medium size and smaller manufacturing companies to help them compete and grow profitably. It also serves as the “voice of manufacturing” to raise the industry’s profile as an appreciated, highly advanced economic driver of Minnesota’s economy. The organization is Minnesota’s affiliate of the national Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP) program.
Schottmuller will focus on building relationships in support of Enterprise Minnesota’s digital and print publications and events that help put the organization at the center of Minnesota’s thriving community of manufacturers and those who care about manufacturing
“Jim’s experience in sales, marketing, project and financial management will be a valuable contribution to the Enterprise Minnesota team,” said Bob Kill, President and CEO of Enterprise Minnesota.
Since 2001, Schottmuller has worked as a corporate leasing specialist, property manager, real estate advisor, project manager and business owner. In 2011, he became vice president of The Alliance for a Healthier Minnesota, a collaboration of Minnesota businesses dedicated to worksite wellness. He will work half-time for Enterprise Minnesota and also continue serving the Alliance part-time.
Schottmuller is currently pursuing his bachelor’s degree in business finance from Bethel University.
