Jan Hepola has over 20 years of experience in assessing the development and training needs of businesses, and creating and delivering programs that develop leaders and high performance teams at all levels of an organization. She assists companies with clarifying their business goals, developing sustainable plans, and coaching the implementations of the internal efforts towards success.
Jan is an Enterprise Minnesota CEO Peer Council facilitator and brings experience in strategic planning, organizational culture and employee engagement, team development, and executive coaching. As an Enterprise Minnesota business consultant, Jan brings leadership experiences as a program lead, staff supervisor, project manager, and service director in both private and public sector organizations to each of her clients. . Jan is a Certified Trainer of the Job Relations and Job Instructions modules of the Training Within Industry (TWI) program. This program develops the leadership, problem solving, and instructional skills of front-line supervisors. In addition, Jan is a certified Social Styles® program trainer, which focuses on building effective communication skills with leadership teams, managers and supervisors, salespeople and technical support staff.
Jan is recognized locally, nationally and internationally as a public speaker and trainer. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Relations from the University of Minnesota and is in the process of completing a Masters Degree in Organizational Management and Development. Her experience includes project development, team design and management, train-the-trainer, group facilitation, software training, and Internet strategy development. She is a member of the Organizational Development Network, the American Society for Training and Development, the Minnesota Council on Quality, and the Usability Professionals Association. She is certified as a TWI Instructor by the Central New York Technology Development Organization, Inc., and as a Social Styles Trainer by TRACOM.
