As President and CEO of Enterprise Minnesota, Bob Kill leads the organization to achieve strategic and long-term goals. He has more than 30 years experience in manufacturing executive management. He is passionately committed to fostering public and private industry collaboration as an important driver to the state’s economy.
Kill is recognized as a spokesperson for Minnesota's manufacturing industry. He is regularly quoted in national and regional media on manufacturing trends and industry outlook.
Prior to leading Enterprise Minnesota, Kill served as chief executive officer of Ciprico Inc., a manufacturer of high performance data and networking systems. He later served as chairman of the board. Before joining Ciprico, Kill served in senior management positions with Northern Telecom Inc. He began his career with Burroughs Corporation.
Kill has served on numerous industry boards, including software, technology, manufacturing, and startup companies. Currently, he serves on the Minnesota Job Skills Partnership Board, the Minnesota Agriculture and Economic Development Board, University of Minnesota, Morris Chancellor’s Advisory Board, and Minnesota Center for Engineering and Manufacturing Excellence Advisory Council.
Kill received a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Minnesota. An avid bicyclist and golfer, he likes to travel and spend time with family.
