As a Process Engineering Specialist for Enterprise Minnesota, Samuel Gould serves clients with his broad expertise in engineering and manufacturing. Samuel has over 30 years of experience in new product development, advanced manufacturing processes, value engineering, automated manufacturing test equipment, and project management. He uses this background to guide clients through the process of implementing strategies for improving efficiencies in their business.
Prior to joining Enterprise Minnesota, Samuel worked in engineering, operations, and management for manufacturers in Minnesota, Kansas, and Tennessee. He worked at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory for two different organizations: starting as a process development engineer for Union Carbide, and progressing to senior technical manager for Lockheed Martin. Samuel then worked as senior engineering manager for Nellcor Puritan Bennett before moving on to serve in the positions as director of engineering and manufacturing at Mallinckrodt, Inc. and eventually plant manager at Tyco Healthcare (now Covidien).
Samuel is a graduate of the College of the Ozarks, with bachelor’s degrees in both electronics technology and applied mathematics. He also has master’s degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Tennessee, and management of technology from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota. He holds certification in RFID Implementation by CompTIA, and lean bronze certification from the Society of Manufacturing Engineers.
