As a Process Engineering Specialist for Enterprise Minnesota, Jan Hepola serves clients with her broad expertise in leadership and development training and facilitation services. Jan has over ten years of experience in internet business consulting, including web design and development, online marketing, and project management. She utilizes her background to guide clients in growing their business. Jan is a certified trainer in the job relations and job instructions modules of Training Within Industry - a program that develops leadership, problem solving, and instructional skills of front-line supervisors.

Prior to joining Enterprise Minnesota, Jan held positions in staff coordination, graphic and web design, and training on e-business techniques. She served as marketing and proposal coordinator for BRW, Inc., outreach program developer for the Mounds View Public Schools, and a graphic and web designer for Design Train, Inc.

A graduate of the University of Minnesota with a bachelor’s degree in human resources, she has continued with graduate work in business and marketing. Jan has professional training in internet marketing strategies, search engine optimization, web design, and web usability standards and testing methods. In addition, she is certified as a search engine optimization professional. She is also a certified Social Styles program trainer, which focuses on building effective communication skills with teams, supervisors, salespeople and managers. Jan is currently a member of the Minnesota Chapter of Usability Professionals.
